Three Harper-Collins imprints are in a bidding war for comedienne, Sarah Silverman's autobiography. Harper got the contract with a $2.5 million bid and is awaiting Silverman's and her agent's decision.
Compared to Tina Fey's book, Silverman's is said to be a series of vignettes, jokes, and short stories that comprise something of a peek into the TV starlet's life. Nut while Fey remains a critical darling, Silverman has come under fire for her belligerently jejune, potty-mouthed routines. Even this long-time fan has started seeing... chinks in her armor.
