"Meh," the etymology of which is unknown, has made its way into Collins 30th-Anniversary English Dictionary. It was chosen by lexicographers for inclusion from a list which included "frenemy," "jargonaut," and others. While its origins are murky (sounds Yiddish to me), it apparently gained popularity after being featured in an episode of The Simpsons animated TV show.
