Anthony Zuicker has already changed the face of TV as the creator of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation; now, he is looking to change the face of traditional publishing with the release of the first "digi-novel," Level 26.
Every 20 pages, readers will be prompted to logon to the Level 26 website to watch a 3-minute video "bridge." While the book can be read without watching the "cyber-bridges" - written, filmed, and directed by Zuicker himself - the short films bring an entirely new dimension to the reading experience. The website can be further explored to bring even more detail and depth to the overall story, allowing readers to continue to enjoy the story long after the book is done.
Zuicker says he came up with the idea during the Writers' Strike.
