Koji Suzuki, Japanese author of the international horror franchise, The Ring, is releasing his latest horrific creation... on a roll of toilet paper. According to local customs, Japanese toilets were often tucked-away in the dark corners of homes. Parents and extended family taunted youngsters with stories of a "hairy hand" which could emerge from the toilet and pull them into the pool below.
The new novella takes up about 3' of toilet paper and can be read "in a few minutes," according to manufacturer, Hayashi Paper. Rolls sell for just over $2.00 and are wrapped in a dark "cover" illustration.
