Tim Burton's Exquisite Corpse

Director Tim Burton is allowing fans to help write his next script using Twitter. Burton suggested a game of cadavre exquis, or "exquisite corpse," over the service yesterday. The best fan submissions are being culled and retweeted on Tim Burton's website, where you can read the story up to now.

Cadavre exquis is a parlor game thought to have originated among artists and poets in which each participant writes down a single word. The resulting sentence is usually quite odd. The game was named after what is reputed to be the first sentence it ever produced: "The exquisite corpse will drink the young wine."

The experiment continues through December 6th.
