Sorry. I know I started off strong and then disappeared, but I am sick - one of those sick-sick things that goes around far too often in this hick county. Largely because the people are uneducated and therefore rather filthy. Illnesses are passed around like hookers here. I had to nap for a bit, though I couldn't sleep for anything.
Anyway, this is just a quick missive to let you know what I am working on.
For one thing, I am going to try and get back to a regular schedule. A lot of the site is up now and even though there is much more to come, I am close enough to my goal at this point that I think I can start getting back to regular posting. We will see.
I have an advance copy of a really funny book for review. It should have come like two months ago but was delayed by the publisher. Once it finally arrived, I took it with me on a visit and left it in my bag. I just remembered it the other day and got back to reading it. It's hysterical though, so I should be able to breeze through it fairly quickly.
Not a whole, whole lot changes in the world of writing - most of it is Golden Rules and Oprah's Book Club stuff - but every once in a while, some writing-related story hits the mainstream press and I bookmark it. Most likely, you will already have read them, but I am still going to report on them.
And then I have at least one or two market listings posts for you.
So, things may still be a little slow for the immediate time being, but hopefully by the end of the year, everything will be back to normal.
