National Punctuation Day

Today is National Punctuation Day.

I am not sure how to celebrate it... aside from making this post. I know a lot of people consider holidays like this to be useless, but I like it. We need more holidays, when you think about it! Americans work more, more often, than all the rest of the world.

But holidays like this aren't really for "celebrating," they are more to remind and inform us. And the good Lord knows we could use some reminding on proper punctuation usage?

  1. No! I wish I would have known about this sooner! I started my style and punctuation blog 2 days too late (http://markitright.wordpress.com). Oh well, there's always next year.

  2. Heh. Yes, there are a slew of writing-related holidays, most of which hardly anyone has ever even heard of - even we writers! I try to keep up with them, but thee are so many that it isn't easy!

Welcome to the fray, Scribbler, and I'll have to check out your blog in a moment.
