Paying Sci-Fi Markets

This outing, we're going to take a look at several science-fiction publishers and contests. As usual, this market listing contains one publisher, one magazine, and one contest. These listings are taken directly from the 2007 Writer's Market, but you are urged to spend some time researching any outlet to which you are considering submitting. whenever possible, online resources (links, e-mail addresses, etc.) have been provided. If you do not know the lingo and acronyms, you are in over your head.
